Tasting Note:

"Game, smoke, tobacco, licorice and incense run through the 2014 Feytit Clinet, which exudes depth and intensity. Chocolate, gravel and a host of dark-toned fruits nearly bury the tannins. The 2014 saw five days of cold soaking followed by 26 days on the skins. Malolactic fermentation was done in barrel. The blend is 94 % Merlot and 6 % Cabernet Franc. Proprietor Jérémy Chasseuil and his team have done a terrific job with the 2014."

Overview:

Quite a discrete, old-fashioned wine for Pomerol with a very nice balance and some real depth. For traditionalists this a good choice at the lower end of the price range for this appellation. Beauty.
