"With almost equal proportions of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is classic. Touched by wood, but with the fruit very much up front, the wine has richness, a smoky character and promise. Drink this ripe wine from 2024. "

Overview:
Château Noaillac, a well-known Cru Bourgeois property, has been owned by the Pages family since 1983 - it also owns Château La Tour de By.
There are 41 hectares of vineyards, well-sited on a gravel ridge in the Médoc and planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), Merlot (40%) and Petit Verdot (5%). The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless steel vats and the wine is matured in oak barriques (33% new) for 15 months.
Château Noaillac produces medium-bodied clarets characterised by a spicy, vanilla-redolent bouquet, elegant tannins and smooth, ripe fruit on the palate.
